FMBS Salt Nebulising System

FMBS Salt Nebulising System

Our SeaClimate systems combine holistic and scientific approaches in treating equine athletes. We nebulise medically approved Dead Sea salt solution enriched with magnesium and other minerals, which is vaporised with de-ionised air at specific rates into the atmosphere within our enclosed bespoke stable. The process involves controlled release and inhalation of a complex mix of mineral salts from the Dead Sea, through our equines respiratory system and skin cells simultaneously.

Handy Preparation Guide

Here are some suggested ways you can prepare your horse for the water treadmill and combi floor and solarium.

  • Working with your horse so it is happy to stand in an enclosed space.
  • Handling your horse from both sides.
  • Walking and standing your horse in water.
  • Cross tie experience (we use in the washbay and combi floor area).
  • Ensure your horse has experience of hosing legs and sprays.

Ideas

  • Practice asking your horse to stand on a mat/different surface.
  • Walking between barriers with handlers on either side.

Inform the team if your horse has any fears so we can ensure that we can plan an introduction session to our facility that better suits its needs.

Please arrive with your horse clean and free from mud, dirt and pick hoofs out once you arrive.

Please ensure your horses tail is wrapped up in a tail bandage.

No overreach boots or training aides can be used on the treadmill.
